Real Ale Festival

Real Ale Festival 2019

Cove's Real Ale Festival is one of the most popular events in the Hall's calendar. A wide range of ales and ciders are on offer and there is food all day.

The Festival is a family-friendly event: Craigrownie Park fundraisers provide a children’s space with activities, as well as teas, coffees, soft drinks, juices and sweets, and there’s an outdoor tented family area.

The Real Ale Festival, organised and staffed by locals, is a major fund-raising event for the community-run Burgh Hall and attracts visitors from all over the country.

All visitors are encouraged to leave the car at home. Buses run on the hour from Helensburgh, with return buses from Coulport leaving on the hour until 10pm. There is also the new ferry service in operation from Gourock.

The event starts on Saturday at 12 noon and runs until 8pm. The entry fee of £5 includes a souvenir glass, and tasting notes.
