Moira In Lockdown is the latest romp through the life and lockdown times of “Falkirk’s hardest woman.’
Her creator and performer, Alan Bissett, brought her back to life for the Edinburgh Fringe last summer where she sold out every performance – no mean feat given the extraordinary number of rival Fringe events on tap.
The Scotsman critic, Joyce MacMillan, called Moira “the most unique character to arrive on the Scottish stage in a decade.” Unique she certainly sounds, and her scripted voice is definitely not for the faint of heart.
Alan brought the original Moira Monologues to Cove Burgh Hall a few years back and pronounces himself delighted to be coming back. With bells on!
Doors open at 7.30pm, performance starts at 8.00pm
