Clare Hunter

Clare Hunter

Saturday 26th November at 12 noon

Mary Queen of Scots has always exerted a strong fascination despite spending only 12 years in Scotland. Clare Hunter, whose book Threads of Life won a Saltire award and was a R4 book of the week, turns her attention in EMBROIDERING HER TRUTH to the legacy left by Mary in the textiles she inherited and worked on.

Chaired by Susan Stewart, director of the Open University in Scotland.
